5th Sunday Women’s Day: No Turning Back — Moving Forward
Friendly Temple’s 2025 Women’s Day brought women together around a clear declaration: No Turning Back — Moving Forward. Rooted in Philippians 3:13–14, the afternoon was a celebration of faith, forward movement, fellowship and the strength that comes when women gather with purpose.
Hosted by Lady Kristal Parks, the service welcomed guest speaker Pastor Kim Burrell for an afternoon that blended worship, the Word and community. The room reflected what Women’s Day can be at its best—multiple generations gathering together, celebrating one another and leaving encouraged to keep moving forward.

The story of the day was not only on the platform. It was in the pews, the conversations, the photographs, the laughter and the women who showed up for one another.

Moving forward does not mean forgetting where God brought you from.
It means refusing to let yesterday become the boundary of tomorrow. Women’s Day created space to honor the journey while turning our attention toward what is ahead—with faith, community and expectation.
